1. Identify Your Need
The first step of our process is to identify your unique needs. Whether your organization is in need of a long-term or short-term locum tenens provider, we take time to truly understand the ins and outs of your organization in order to find you the right candidate. We will also decide on your preferred method of communication (E-mail, online, phone, etc.) in order to communicate more timely and effectively.
2. Search for your Ultimate Fit
This is when we conduct our Process Adapt™ to ensure we understand the work culture of your organization and the department where we will be placing the provider. We adapt to your processes and your perceptions. If you have internal processes in place, we will mirror your screening and interviewing procedures. Next, we search through our database for providers who have the experience you require and the behaviors and personality that align with your organization's ethos. Our database of pre-screened, qualified candidates is the first stop while simultaneous initiating a recruiting/sourcing process with the goal of finding you the Ultimate Fit.
3. Submit Candidates
Once we have a candidate that fits all your needs, we submit his or her CV and accompanying information for your review.
4. Interview a Candidate
We have a variety of interview procedures available and select the best arrangement for you beginning with a phone interview in which you talk directly with the candidate regarding your specific position and learn more about their experience. When you have found the Ultimate Fit, we move forward with finalizing and initiating the locum tenens assignment.
Ultimate Locum Tenens handles credential and license verification, as well as privileging support. We also facilitate all travel and lodging needs for your chosen provider.
6. Ambassador Program® (NP/PA Placements Only)
When we place a nurse practitioner or physician assistant on assignment they become a temporary employee, or Ambassador, of Ultimate Locum Tenens. By becoming a representative of our company, Ambassadors are an extension of Ultimate Locum Tenens and fulfill our Promise and Purpose. When practitioners are positioned for success, they own the outcome of their assignment and create remarkable experiences for our clients and our clients' patients.
7. Continued Support
Throughout our physician's and Ambassador's assignment, we will follow up with you and the candidate to ensure that we have made the Ultimate Fit and to answer or resolve any questions or concerns along the way.
After the assignment has ended, we follow up with you to make sure you experienced the Ultimate Fit. We want to know what you liked about our service and what you did not like (if anything). Throughout our partnership we administer surveys to understand the level of engagement from all members of your organization who work with our assigned providers. We propose strategies and solutions to challenges that will allows us to enhance our level of service.
